Privacy Policy

We collect as little data as possible and only use it for the purposes described below.

Website

When you submit a pre-order or sign-up form, we store your email address, the product you chose, your IP address and your country. We use this to contact you about that product, based on your consent. The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies.

Orders and shipping

When you buy from us, Stripe handles your payment and passes us your name, email address, phone number, and billing and shipping address. We store these together with your device's serial number for shipping, support and warranty, and share them with PostNord to deliver your order. We email you a shipping confirmation. This is necessary to fulfil your order.

Lydbro products

Your Lydbro device contacts our server when it powers on and once a day to check for firmware updates. It sends its MAC address, local IP address, firmware version, the device and remote names you have set, and diagnostic counters such as memory use and restart reason. Our server also records the public IP address and country the request came from. Before shipping, we register your email address on the device so we can send you a welcome email on first start and let you know if the device reverts a firmware update. You can change or remove the email in the device settings. If you prefer, you can block the device from reaching lydbro.com in your router or firewall. It keeps working normally, you just will not receive firmware updates. We do not collect any information about how you use your remote or your connected equipment. We process this data based on our legitimate interest in delivering updates and keeping devices reliable.

Who else sees your data

Cloudflare hosts our website and servers. Google Workspace handles our email. Stripe processes payments. PostNord delivers orders. Some of these companies process data in the United States under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Data retention

We keep your data until you ask us to delete it, or until we no longer need it. Email us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), you have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Request correction of inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data at any time
• Withdraw your consent at any time
• Lodge a complaint with the Swedish Authority for Privacy Protection (IMY)
